NCME hosts LZ webinar

June 22nd, 2010  |  by Engage Wisconsin Published in Engage WI, Updates

Last month Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) led LZ Lambeau, an event that drew 70,000 people to Green Bay, Wisc. to honor Vietnam-era veterans. This powerful event demonstrated how public media can play an extraordinary role in civic life.

We invite you to join WPT staff at 1 p.m. TOMORROW, June 23 as we share more about LZ Lambeau. We’ll explain why we launched the project and discuss what worked, as well as what didn’t. We’ll also hear from Tim Eernisse at WGVU, who is planning a similar event in Michigan later this summer.

The webinar is hosted by the National Center for Media Engagement (NCME). If you’re not familiar with NCME, this webinar and their other services are made possible by funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
