Two weeks ago, I began my research on community gardening by attending Mayor Dave Cieslewicz’s Community Garden Bike Tour. The tour visited four gardens on the east side of Madison and Monona, including the East High Youth Farm.

[05/04/2010] The EngageWisconsin team has been roaming the grounds of LZ Lambeau, collecting stories from Vietnam Veterans and their families. Crossing all forms of media, we have been posting essays, photographs, audio, music, and web shorts online since arriving yesterday and will continue to do so throughout the weekend.

[06/04/2010] “On the Ground @ LZ Lambeau” is a multimedia storytelling project produced by EngageWisconsin, a Wisconsin Public Television Community Engagement Initiative. A team of young journalists will be roaming LZ Lambeau and related Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories events throughout the weekend of May 21-23, 2010, producing written and photographic essays, video shorts, and audio narratives, documenting the stories of Wisconsin’s Vietnam Veterans and their long-overdue “Welcome Home”.
