“You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother,” Albert Einstein claimed. It’s true that the best way to really learn about a topic is to teach it to someone else. And that is just what my students in the Wisconsin River Academy will be doing at the Boston School Forest throughout the winter, and, I hope, for the rest of their lives.
